Qualifying as a solicitor nearly 20 years ago, Jayne advises both employers and employees on a wide range of employment and HR related matters including contracts, redundancies, performance management and misconduct. She advises senior executives on all matters relating to their employment from their initial offer and contract through to disputes, dismissals and severance packages.

Jayne’s advice is practical and relevant, taking into account the nature of the legal issue and the desired outcomes of her client. She understands that no two matters are the same and takes time to understand her client’s needs and work with them, often during difficult times – whether it be of a personal or business nature.

Before joining Julian Taylor Solicitors she led the Thames Valley employment team of a leading national law firm.

Paula specialises in diversity issues, advises on collective consultation including TUPE, redundancy and trade union issues including advocacy at Tribunal and Central Arbitration Committee hearings.

Recently she has advised clients on gender pay and other inclusion projects

Established by Julian Taylor, the firm has been operating as a specialist employment law practice for over 15 years, but the team, still led by Julian, has combined employment law experience of over 50 years. 

We are based in Buckingham, close to Oxford, and just a small jump from London.

We help many companies and individuals to navigate a whole range of employment issues. 

Settlement agreements are one key area of expertise and so in 2021 we established this specific website to provide clients with more information on this topic and to focus on one of our main service offerings. 

We still advise on a full range of employment law issues so are well placed to answer all employment related queries
